The Role:
We're seeking an experienced Construction/Site Manager to oversee the development and execution of large-scale solar farm projects in the Newton Abbot area. This is a key leadership position within a rapidly expanding renewable energy organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Overall management and coordination of solar farm construction projects
- Leading and supervising construction teams and subcontractors
- Ensuring project delivery within agreed timelines and budgets
- Maintaining health and safety standards and site compliance
- Coordinating with clients and technical teams
- Managing resource allocation and equipment deployment
- Quality control and progress monitoring
- Risk assessment and mitigation planning
Required Experience & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in solar farm construction management
- Strong track record in delivering utility-scale renewable energy projects
- 18th edition city & guilds 2382-22
- First aid certification
- Experience with construction management software
- Valid UK driving license
- CSCS Card (Gold & Black Cards Desirable)
