Location: 23 Hospital Fields Rd, York, UK
Schedule: 9am – 5pm, Tuesday – Saturday
Summary
As a Clinical Laboratory Scientist I, you will conduct testing to provide critical results for participants across several phases of clinical trials.
Responsibilities
- Setup and maintain laboratory equipment in line with SOPs
- Perform sample analysis
- Assist in instrument and method validations as required
- Contribute to revision of department-specific SOPs in conjunction with other ACM functions
- Document and complete quality documentation (Quality Issue, CAPA, deviation, change control) within required timeframes
- Participate in general housekeeping of the laboratory, including procurement, stock check, and maintaining a clean environment
- Assist in other operational areas as required (e.g., Sample Management, Logistics)
- Participate in internal and external quality assessments
- Ensure compliance with GCP guidelines and accreditation schemes (e.g., CAP)
- Handle patient/client data securely and confidentially
- Perform other duties as requested by Operational Management
Qualifications
Required: BSc or higher in a relevant scientific subject
Preferred: Laboratory experience in a clinical setting, background in blood sciences, familiarity with GCP
