Job Summary

We are recruiting an Experienced Site Manager to oversee a major Passivhaus Capital project in Enniskillen — the first of its kind in Northern Ireland. Key Responsibilities
- Project Delivery: Manage all on-site activities to ensure timely, within-budget, and high-quality project completion.
- Leadership: Lead site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers, fostering collaboration and high morale.
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to Passivhaus principles, building regulations, health & safety, and environmental standards.
- Programme Management: Coordinate construction schedules, mitigate risks, and address challenges proactively.
- Stakeholder Communication: Maintain positive relationships with clients, consultants, and the community.
- Record-Keeping and IT: Maintain detailed records to meet Passivhaus standards, utilizing strong IT and documentation skills.
- Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve challenges proactively to ensure smooth project progression.
- Reporting: Provide accurate progress updates to management and clients.
- Site Quality and Safety: Uphold quality control and safety standards consistently.
Requirements
Essential Criteria:
- Proven experience as a Site Manager on large-scale projects (£50M+).
- Strong knowledge of Passivhaus principles and energy-efficient construction practices.
- Understanding of construction health & safety regulations.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage budgets and programmes effectively.
- Proficiency with IT systems, including project management software.
Desirable Criteria:
- Experience delivering public-sector projects.
- Knowledge of advanced sustainable construction techniques.
- Relevant qualifications such as NVQ Level 6 in Construction Site Management or equivalent.
- Membership of a professional body (e.g., CIOB).
