An independent advisory firm is expanding its restructuring and debt advisory team in London on the back of sustained refinancing and stressed-credit deal flow. The practice advises corporates, lenders and sponsors across refinancings, amend-and-extend processes and special situations mandates.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and stress-test 13-week cash flows, business plans and covenant models
  • Support live engagements including IBRs, options analyses and contingency planning
  • Work on refinancings, new-money raises and balance sheet restructurings across the capital structure
  • Prepare lender presentations, creditor updates and board materials under tight deadlines
  • Coordinate legal advisers, lenders and management teams through each mandate

Candidate Profile

  • 2–6 years in restructuring, turnaround, debt advisory or leveraged finance (Big4, boutique or bank)
  • Technical grounding in cash flow modelling, capital structures and credit documentation
  • Creditor or company-side mandate exposure; formal insolvency experience useful but not required
  • ACA, CFA or equivalent qualification an advantage
  • Fluent English; further European languages valuable for cross-border situations
