We are seeking candidates with 15+ years of experience in private banking, wealth management, or as an independent External Asset Manager (EAM), who possess a highly portable, established book of UHNW/HNW clients. Our client is a highly agile boutique wealth management and multi-family office platform. Backed by a major institutional trust and foundation group, the firm offers a comprehensive, institutional-grade product suite spanning traditional wealth management, private markets, digital assets, and complex wealth planning. The firm partners with global clients and is expanding its footprint across key markets including the US, LATAM, and Europe.
The Senior Client Advisor will have the flexibility to operate from London or other key financial hubs, working directly alongside senior leadership to service and expand their private client portfolio. The role provides ultimate freedom and an entrepreneurial platform devoid of the bureaucracy and product-pushing mandates found in large traditional private banks. It is well suited to highly seasoned, self-sufficient professionals with a strong client orientation, a low-ego approach, and a desire to build long-term value through a highly competitive revenue-sharing or base-plus-bonus structure.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage and grow your existing, highly portable book of UHNW/HNW private clients, ensuring a smooth and compliant transition of assets to the firm's platform (target AUM: $100M+).
- Provide holistic, tailored wealth management advice across a broad spectrum of asset classes, including traditional liquid investments, private equity, illiquid markets, and digital assets.
- Act as the primary relationship manager for your clients, coordinating with internal and external specialists to deliver comprehensive solutions, including tax services, relocation, and cross-border wealth planning.
- Operate with a high degree of autonomy and entrepreneurial ownership, managing the full client lifecycle from acquisition, due diligence, and onboarding to daily execution and strategic advisory.
- Ensure all client activities and cross-border engagements strictly adhere to regulatory frameworks, leveraging the firm’s SEC registration and international compliance infrastructure.
- Contribute to the firm’s flat, collaborative culture, actively participating in the boutique’s growth and sharing market intelligence with a tight-knit team of senior professionals.
- 15+ years of front-office experience as a Senior Private Banker, Wealth Manager, or External Asset Manager (EAM) with a proven track record of managing private client wealth.
- An established, highly portable book of business (minimum $100M+ AUM) with a clear, realistic business case and strategy for transitioning clients.
- Entrepreneurial, hands-on mindset; comfortable operating independently and managing your own workflow without relying on a heavily layered corporate back-office infrastructure.
- Comfortable with a compensation structure focused on long-term partnership and alignment (e.g., highly attractive revenue-share models or competitive base plus bonus).
- Strong communication and relationship management skills.
- Fluency in English is required; additional languages relevant to your specific client base (e.g., Spanish, German, French) are highly beneficial.
