With a flexible and tailored approach, the firm partners closely with founders and management teams to structure and execute value-accretive investments. To support its continued expansion, the firm is seeking a commercially astute Investment Director who has transitioned from an investment-focused role into investor relations and fundraising.
The Investment Director will take a central role in shaping and driving the firm’s fundraising strategy, building long-term partnerships with institutional investors, and positioning the firm’s differentiated investment offering. This is a highly visible role that combines strategic leadership with hands-on execution, requiring both deep investment expertise and proven investor relations capabilities.
Key Responsibilities- Fundraising Leadership: Drive end-to-end fundraising processes across multiple funds, from strategy development through to final close, coordinating closely with Partners and senior leadership.
- Investor Relations Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for existing LPs, ensuring timely, transparent, and high-quality communication on performance, portfolio updates, and strategic initiatives.
- Capital Development & Strategy: Expand the firm’s LP base by building relationships with institutional investors, sovereign wealth funds, pension funds, family offices, and consultants globally.
- Brand & Positioning: Develop and refine the firm’s fundraising narratives, marketing materials, and performance presentations to highlight competitive advantages and track record.
- Market & Competitive Intelligence: Continuously track investor sentiment, fundraising trends, and competitor activity, ensuring the firm is well-positioned within the broader fundraising landscape.
- Execution Expertise: Leverage prior investing experience to credibly discuss portfolio strategies, deal structuring, risk-return profiles, and value creation initiatives with sophisticated investors.
- Governance & Compliance: Ensure all fundraising and investor communications adhere to relevant regulatory frameworks, compliance standards, and best practices.
- Internal Collaboration: Partner closely with deal teams, finance, and portfolio operations to source insights and translate them into clear, investor-ready communication.
- Thought Leadership & Representation: Represent the firm externally at investor conferences, roadshows, and industry panels, acting as a key ambassador for the platform.
- Experience: At least 10 years of experience in private equity, growth capital, or related investment roles, with 3–5 years of direct investor relations and fundraising exposure.
- Execution Track Record: Strong background in deal execution, due diligence, structuring, and portfolio value creation, with the credibility to engage investors at a technical level.
- Fundraising Acumen: Proven experience leading successful fundraises, building and maintaining relationships with top-tier LPs, and securing commitments across diverse investor types.
- Institutional Network: Established relationships with European and global LPs, including pension funds, sovereign wealth funds, endowments, family offices, and fund-of-funds.
- Communication Excellence: Outstanding presentation, storytelling, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to tailor messages to varied investor audiences.
- Analytical & Commercial Strength: Ability to translate complex financial and operational data into clear, persuasive insights for investors.
- Strategic Vision: Strong understanding of fundraising strategy, LP dynamics, and capital flows, combined with the ability to anticipate and adapt to market trends.
