I'm currently working with a London-based private equity / growth firm investing in European B2B software and SaaS businesses. The firm takes controlling stakes in founder-led software companies and backs them through their next phase of growth.
Responsibilities:
- Support the evaluation and execution of software and SaaS investments across Europe
- Build and maintain financial models, including LBO, valuation and SaaS-metric analysis (ARR, retention, cohort/unit economics)
- Conduct due diligence across financial, commercial, technology and operational workstreams
- Prepare investment committee materials and transaction documentation
- Work alongside founders and management teams on growth and value-creation initiatives
- Support origination and market mapping across software sub-sectors
Requirements:
- 3–6 years in private equity, growth equity, or technology / software M&A
- Strong transaction experience in software / SaaS or wider technology
- Strong financial modelling (LBO essential) and fluency with SaaS metrics
- Top-tier academic background
- Genuine interest in software and founder-led businesses
