Our client, a special situations investment firm, is seeking an Investment Associate – Distressed & Special Situations to join its London office. The firm targets complex credit and equity opportunities across Europe, including restructurings, distressed debt, and event-driven situations. This role offers direct exposure to high-impact transactions and active portfolio engagement in a dynamic, high-performing team. Key Responsibilities: Lead financial analysis and modelling for distressed and opportunistic investments. Evaluate capital structures, recovery scenarios, and restructuring outcomes. Prepare investment memos and support presentations to the investment committee. Engage with stakeholders, advisors, and portfolio companies during turnaround processes. Qualifications: 3–5 years of experience in restructuring, special situations, private credit, or investment banking. Deep understanding of credit, valuation, and capital markets. Proven ability to manage complex deal processes and cross-functional workstreams. Fluent in English; additional European language a plus. To apply, please submit your CV.
