About the Role:
ACL Hygienics as part of Ideal Tridon is a global leader in flow control solutions for the pharmaceutical and food & beverage sectors. We are seeking a skilled CNC Turner to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background and be proficient in operating and programming CNC machinery. This role requires attention to detail, the ability to read technical drawings, and a solid understanding of CAD software. The CNC Turner will play a crucial role in ensuring the precision and quality of our manufactured components.
Key Responsibilities:
- Programming the machines.
- Machine Setup and Tooling: Set up CNC machines, including loading materials, securing workpieces, and installing tooling and fixtures. Select appropriate cutting tools and make tool changes, as necessary. Conduct tool offsets and work offsets to ensure accurate machining. Need experience on Fanuc turning centers. We have Doosan Puma 4100m & 2600SY II.
- CNC Operation: Program/Set & Operate CNC machines to produce parts with precision and accuracy. Monitor machine performance and make adjustments as needed to maintain quality and efficiency. Perform routine maintenance tasks to keep machines in optimal condition.
- Quality Assurance: Inspect completed parts to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications. Conduct in-process checks and measurements to verify accuracy and quality. Identify and address any issues that may affect the quality of the product.
- Safety and Compliance: Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment. Adhere to company policies and procedures, including quality standards and production schedules.
Key Requirements:
- Evidence of successful completion of training in programming.
- Proficiency in CNC programming.
- Technical certification or diploma in machining or related field is preferred.
- Proven experience as a CNC Programmer, Setter, and Operator in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of machining processes, tooling, and materials.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality parts.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Familiarity with Fanuc machine controls.
