We are seeking passionate and talented BEMS Service & Small Works Engineers to join our team and help drive innovation in the Building Energy Management Systems (BEMS) sector. If you're a skilled BEMS engineer with experience in service, fault-finding, commissioning, and modifications, we want to hear from you!

As part of our dynamic and growing team, you'll be working on cutting-edge projects across a diverse range of sectors including Healthcare, Leisure, Stadia, and Education. You'll be pivotal in delivering high-quality service and technical expertise, while also contributing to the development and growth of junior engineers. Your role will be customer-facing, ensuring excellent relationships and the highest standards of service delivery.

Basic Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 DOE

Key Responsibilities:

  • Commissioning & Testing: Plan, commission, and test new installations, upgrades, and modifications to existing BEMS systems.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong client relationships, providing excellent customer service and technical advice.
  • Fault Diagnosis & Problem Solving: Use your expertise to identify and rectify complex system faults across control panels, field wiring, electrical control panels, and BMS controllers.
  • Project Delivery: Ensure all projects are delivered successfully on time and to specification, always aiming to exceed customer expectations.
  • Mentoring: Support and guide junior engineers, sharing your expertise and knowledge to help them develop their skills.
  • Quality Assurance: Maintain high-quality standards and ensure all work meets compliance and regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience as a BEMS Controls Engineer, with a strong engineering background.
  • Solid experience with TREND hardware, networks, and/or Tridium control platforms.
  • C&G Level 2 or equivalent electrical qualifications.
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
  • Solid mechanical plant knowledge.
  • A proactive and self-motivated individual who can work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Full clean driving license and an interest in energy management.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and influence at all levels.
  • A flexible can-do attitude, with the ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
  • Ability to mentor junior staff members and apprentices.

Desirable:

  • Tridium N4 Certification.
  • Trend Expert Status (current or prior).
  • Experience with Siemens X Works and Desigo Insight.
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001 quality management standards.
