Alarm Communications Limited is a leading team of fire protection, commercial security and building management systems specialists. Headquartered in Surrey, we serve prestigious buildings and landmarks such as high-end hotels, stadia and educational establishments around Greater London.

We are seeking a highly experienced Fire Protection Engineer with expertise in Fire Alarms, Extinguishers, Fire Training, Risk Assessment and Fire Stopping, primarily covering the M25 area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work with our regional team and manage a selection of key accounts from our London Fields office.
  • Install, commission, maintain and service fire alarm systems across a variety of brands (Advanced, Notifier, Morley, Gent). Training for systems will be provided.
  • Collaborate with a two-person team on larger or more complex projects to ensure work is completed efficiently and safely.
  • Mentor and support trainee engineers within the team.
  • Deliver professional, high-quality workmanship on long-standing prestigious contracts with direct end-user relationships.
  • Utilise allocated resources to maintain systems to the highest standards, supported by extensive internal training.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years' experience as a Fire Alarm Engineer with extensive knowledge of multiple products and manufacturers.
  • Ability to install, commission and maintain fire alarm systems to the highest standards.
  • Electrical competence; able to perform safe isolations and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Strong customer orientation and ability to adapt to varied client needs.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong time-management skills.
  • Passion for continual learning and professional development.
  • Preference for a varied role involving maintenance, reactive works and small projects.
