Job Description

Ackerman Pierce is currently supporting a leading local authority within Harlow to recruit for Social Worker – Adults. This will be on a permanent basis paying £37,185 – £50,081 P/Annum.Responsibilities include:

  • Case Load Management
  • Completing reviews and assessment
  • Working alongside other agencies
  • Working to ensure the protection of vulnerable adults
  • Promoting service users choices, control and independence
  • Supporting service users to live safely and independently in their own homes
  • Assessing and reviewing existing service users placed in care homes
  • Reviewing residential, nursing home  or day centre placements
  • Working effectively with other professionals
  • Liaising with other professional bodies whilst working within the Mental Health Act
  • Safeguarding Adults

Minimum Requirements:

  • SWE Registration
  • 1-2 years post qualifying experience within the UK Social Care industry
  • Enhanced DBS/CRB (we can obtain for you)
  • Eligibility to work in the UK
  • A driving licence and car – or the ability to meet the mobility requirements of the role through other means – is essential.
