Job Description
Ackerman Pierce is currently supporting a leading local authority within Colchester to recruit for Social Worker – Adults. This will be on a permanent basis paying £37,185 – £50,081 P/Annum.Responsibilities include:
- Case Load Management
- Completing reviews and assessment
- Working alongside other agencies
- Working to ensure the protection of vulnerable adults
- Promoting service users choices, control and independence
- Supporting service users to live safely and independently in their own homes
- Assessing and reviewing existing service users placed in care homes
- Reviewing residential, nursing home or day centre placements
- Working effectively with other professionals
- Liaising with other professional bodies whilst working within the Mental Health Act
- Safeguarding Adults
Minimum Requirements:
- SWE Registration
- 1-2 years post qualifying experience within the UK Social Care industry
- Enhanced DBS/CRB (we can obtain for you)
- Eligibility to work in the UK
- A driving licence and car – or the ability to meet the mobility requirements of the role through other means – is essential.
