Job Description
Ealing Council is seeking a skilled and motivated Senior Occupational Therapist to join our Adult Social Care team. This full-time role offers a fantastic opportunity for an experienced OT to step into a senior position, leading on complex cases and supporting the development of junior staff within a supportive, multidisciplinary environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Manage a caseload of complex and high-risk cases with minimal supervision

Carry out advanced OT assessments and develop creative, cost-effective care plans

Lead on major and bespoke home adaptations, including drawing detailed specifications and coordinating with contractors

Provide clinical supervision, advice, and support to OT colleagues at Scales 8-10
-
Contribute to service development, audit, and strategic planning

Support families through significant life and environmental changes

Represent OT at multidisciplinary meetings and ensure best practice in care delivery
Requirements:

HCPC-registered Occupational Therapist

Significant post-qualifying experience in adult social care or community OT

Proven ability to manage complex cases independently

Experience supervising or mentoring junior staff

Excellent knowledge of equipment, housing adaptations, and manual handling

Strong leadership, communication, and case management skills
