We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic Physiotherapist to join a well-structured and exciting team in London. My client is offering a fair and manageable caseload along with further training in the portfolio. The candidate will also have the opportunity to work from home. The vacancy is initially for 3 - 6 months with potential for extension.

Main Duties for the Physiotherapist include:

  • Work as part of an inter-professional team with supervision from a senior Physiotherapist.
  • Undertake interprofessional assessments and independently manage a caseload including routine and complex patients requiring rehabilitation and reablement.
  • Negotiate goals with clients and motivate them to participate in treatment to achieve these goals.
  • Formulate, deliver, and evaluate individual physiotherapy treatment programmes using clinical assessment, reasoning skills, and treatment techniques such as manual physiotherapy, health promotion, equipment provision, gait re-education, postural management, and graduated exercises.
  • Provide regular communication and advice to clients, relatives, GPs, and other health and social care professionals via in person, telephone, email, or letter.
  • Explain and educate clients about their conditions, addressing barriers such as language differences and neurological impairments.
  • Initiate and participate in multi-agency team meetings and case conferences, liaising with colleagues, professionals, and agencies for the benefit of the client.

To Be Successful:

  • Experience working with adults with disabilities in the community.
  • Experience with minor equipment.
  • HCPC Registered.
  • Enhanced DBS/CRB (can be obtained for you).
  • Eligibility to work in the UK.
