Redbridge Council is offering a fantastic opportunity for a Newly Qualified Social Worker to begin their career within our fostering service. This is a supportive environment where you will focus on developing your practice in the supervision and support of approved foster carers.
Working alongside experienced professionals, you will gradually take on responsibility for casework involving the day-to-day support of carers and children, helping to ensure stability and quality of care for every placement.

Key responsibilities:
- Support foster carers in managing placements and meeting children's needs
- Contribute to placement planning meetings and carer reviews
- Attend training and co-deliver learning alongside the team
- Assist with fostering panel preparations
- Develop professional confidence with experienced guidance
Requirements:
- Social Work qualification (DipSW, CQSW, BA or equivalent)
- Social Work England registration (or pending)
- Commitment to a long-term career in fostering
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
