The Neighbourhood Housing Lead will primarily focus on conducting estate inspections across our Southeast and Kent Schemes, covering areas such as Lewisham, Bexley, Dartford, Folkestone and Hythe, Gravesham, Greenwich, Maidstone, Medway, Sevenoaks, Swale, and Tonbridge and Malling.

In this role, you will:

  • Support the Housing Management team in delivering a reliable, consistent service for residents.
  • Play a key role in enhancing resident satisfaction, building trust, and ensuring residents are happy in their homes.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for residents in your designated area, managing approximately 500-600 homes, with patches aligned to local authority regions.

The ideal candidate should:

  • Be skilled at building strong relationships and have excellent communication skills with both colleagues and residents.
  • Have a proactive approach to problem-solving, demonstrating resilience, determination, and a strong commitment to delivering on promises made to residents.
  • Be willing to challenge the business when necessary to secure the best outcomes for residents.
  • Possess great time management abilities and the capability to handle a varied workload while meeting deadlines.
  • Be adept at stakeholder management and able to engage with a wide range of customers.
  • Have previous relevant experience.
  • Be able to drive and have access to a car for work purposes.
