Adults MASH Social Worker – London Borough of Camden

The London Borough of Camden is seeking an experienced and committed Adults MASH Social Worker to join our busy and well-structured Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub. This is an exciting opportunity to work at the front line of safeguarding, collaborating with partner agencies to ensure adults at risk receive the right help, at the right time.

This role is offered on an initial 3-6 month contract, with the possibility of extension depending on service needs and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Screening and prioritising safeguarding referrals within the Adults MASH.

  • Undertaking initial information-gathering and risk assessments in partnership with multi-agency colleagues.

  • Devising and recommending proportionate safeguarding responses and packages of care.

  • Maintaining clear, accurate, and timely records in line with statutory requirements.

  • Attending and contributing to strategy meetings and case discussions.

  • Managing a caseload where further intervention is required.

  • Co-ordinating, monitoring, and reviewing safeguarding plans to ensure service standards are met.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Social Work England (SWE) registration.

  • Post-qualifying experience in adult safeguarding within the UK social care sector, ideally within a MASH or duty setting.

  • Strong understanding of the Care Act 2014, safeguarding legislation, and multi-agency working.

  • Enhanced DBS (can be arranged if not current).

  • Eligibility to work in the UK.
