We’re seeking an experienced and passionate Autism Advisory Teacher to take on a key interim leadership role, supporting schools, families, and services to deliver high-quality, inclusive education for autistic pupils.

  • Lead and manage an autism advisory service, overseeing delivery and team coordination.
  • Provide expert guidance to schools on effective autism strategies and inclusive practice.
  • Deliver high-quality training and CPD for school staff and parents.
  • Work directly with schools, modelling interventions and supporting staff development.
  • Build strong partnerships with families, schools, and multi-agency professionals.

Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with substantial experience in SEND.
  • Deep understanding of autism and the diagnostic process.
  • Proven experience supporting neurodivergent children and young people.
  • Expertise in autism-specific strategies (e.g. structured approaches, social communication support, reasonable adjustments).

Contract: 18th May to 31st July. Rate: £280 PD.
