Salary: Β£48,000–£49,000 per annum

Contract: 12-Month Fixed Term Contract

Location: West London (Hybrid – 2-3 days per week in the office)

Make a real difference to the lives of children and young people. We are looking for an experienced safeguarding professional with a strong education background to join a multi-agency child protection team as a Lead Education Child Protection Practitioner. This is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in safeguarding children by representing the education perspective within complex child protection processes.

Working closely with schools, Designated Safeguarding Leads (DSLs), social care, health and other partner agencies, you'll help ensure children receive the right support at the right time while driving effective multi-agency collaboration.

As the Lead Education Child Protection Practitioner, you will:

  • Provide expert education and safeguarding advice within child protection investigations and strategy discussions.
  • Build strong relationships with schools, colleges and education providers to support effective safeguarding practice.
  • Work alongside Designated Safeguarding Leads to gather and analyse information that informs statutory safeguarding decisions.
  • Support and quality assure education reports for Child Protection Conferences.
