Our client is seeking a compassionate and proactive Housing Support Worker to help people experiencing or at risk of homelessness.

This role offers the chance to make a real difference by providing empathetic support, practical advice, and person-centred guidance to individuals moving from crisis towards stability.

As a Housing Support Worker, you wil be providing direct support to those that are homeless or at the threat of homelessness.

The role: Provide non-judgemental, empathetic support via phone, email and face-to-face contact.

Carry out client assessments, identifying needs, risks and opportunities.

Support clients with housing benefit, welfare and other entitlements.

Develop and deliver person-centred support plans.

Liaise with accommodation providers and partner services to secure safe housing.

Promote access to health, wellbeing and community resources.

Maintain accurate case records and apply safeguarding policies where necessary.

About you: Strong communication and empathy skills.

Ability to engage people in distress with patience and resilience.

Knowledge of housing and welfare systems (or willingness to learn).

Organised, collaborative and committed to strengths-based support.
