Assistant Housing Solutions Officer We are currently recruiting for 7 Assistant Housing Solutions Officers to join a busy Local Authority Housing Needs Support team.
This is an excellent opportunity for experienced housing professionals who are passionate about preventing homelessness and delivering high-quality advice and support to residents.
Working within a fast-paced statutory housing environment, you will play a key role in helping residents access suitable accommodation, prevent homelessness, and achieve positive housing outcomes.
Key Responsibilities Deliver high-quality housing advice and homelessness prevention services.
Assess housing needs and identify appropriate housing solutions.
Complete housing needs assessments and contribute to Personalised Housing Plans.
Support the delivery of statutory homelessness duties under relevant housing legislation.
Prepare decision letters, referrals, case notes and statutory correspondence.
Assist residents in accessing housing through allocations and choice-based lettings.
Liaise with internal departments and external agencies to secure positive outcomes.
Maintain accurate case records and manage a varied caseload.
Provide excellent customer service while supporting vulnerable residents.
