We are seeking an Inclusive Practice Project Lead to lead the delivery of a pilot programme designed to strengthen inclusive practice in schools and improve outcomes for children and young people with SEND. This role focuses on working directly with schools and education leaders to identify what effective inclusive practice looks like, support settings where practice is still developing, and evaluate the impact of the pilot to inform future SEND strategy.

What you'll be doing:

  • Lead the design, delivery and evaluation of an Inclusive Practice pilot across three locality areas
  • Work in partnership with headteachers, SENCOs and education leaders to support inclusive approaches
  • Use data and insight to identify schools with strong inclusive practice and those needing targeted support
  • Coordinate activity across multiple schools and stakeholders to ensure consistent delivery
  • Monitor progress, risks and outcomes, providing clear updates and reports
  • Capture learning and evidence from the pilot to inform future scale-up and improvement
  • Support collaboration and shared learning between participating schools

  • Confidence using data to inform decisions and measure impact
  • Excellent communication, facilitation and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
  • Project management experience or qualifications are desirable but not essential if you have relevant experience.
