We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist (OT) to join an expanding Therapeutic Team across five SEN schools in the Croydon and Sutton area. Main duties

  • Delivering evidence‑based, psychologically informed occupational therapy interventions for children and young people.

  • Providing specialist OT advice and guidance for behaviour plans, teaching plans, risk assessments, and EHCPs.
  • Developing, delivering and evaluating therapeutic training for education staff.
  • Using outcome and evaluation tools to measure intervention effectiveness and reporting findings to senior management.
  • Providing specialist OT knowledge and guidance through consultation with colleagues.
  • Attending team meetings, CPD days and contributing to service development initiatives.
  • Travelling between school sites to provide on‑site support and consultation; driving licence and access to a vehicle required (travel expenses reimbursed).

To be successful

  • Qualified and HCPC‑registered Occupational Therapist.

  • Strong communication, interpersonal and teamwork skills.
  • Passionate about helping young people develop confidence, independence and personal achievement.
  • Resilient and enthusiastic and able to work across multiple school sites.
  • Full driving licence and access to a vehicle.
  • Enhanced DBS (we can assist with this).
  • Eligibility to work in the UK.
  • (Desirable) Experience delivering staff training and using outcome evaluation tools.

Why work in this setting?

This is a unique opportunity to join a growing, forward‑thinking Therapeutic Team committed to delivering positive outcomes for children and young people in SEN schools.
