Adult Social Care Occupational Therapist

Salary: Β£29- Β£32 / Hour
Job type: Day to Day Cover
Location: Hackney

Contract: Full-time | Initial 3–6 months with potential for extension

A local authority located in North East London is looking to recruit an experienced Occupational Therapist to join a well-structured team. Main Duties

  • Experience required working with Adults
  • Reviewing care packages and provision of moving and handling equipment
  • Complete Care Act assessments
  • Assess individuals and carers with complex needs in the home environment
  • Recommend and coordinate equipment and adaptations
  • Undertake manual handling assessments
  • Work in line with safeguarding procedures, promoting dignity and respect

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years post-qualified experience
  • Previous experience as a community-based Occupational Therapist
  • Manual handling expertise
  • HCPC Registration
  • Enhanced DBS/CRB (we can assist)
  • Eligibility to work in the UK
  • Must have own vehicle and full UK driving licence
