We are looking to recruit a Qualified Social Worker for a position in the Assessment Team within Hertfordshire Council.

Responsibilities

  • Support families arriving from the Ukraine and undertake safeguarding home visits and assessments.
  • Undertake initial safeguarding visits to families being hosted in Herts.
  • Undertake Child & Family Assessments for children from the Ukraine where needed.
  • Offer advice and guidance; linking with multi‑agency colleagues.
  • Complete safeguarding visits.

Experience preferred

  • Post qualifying experience of working within a statutory Children team within the UK Social Care industry.

Minimum Requirements

  • SWE Registration.
  • 1 year post‑qualifying experience within the UK.
