We are looking to recruit a Supervising Social Worker for a Private Fostering Agency. Our client has a well-structured and organised team that are looking to grow their staffing levels. The role offers flexible working hours and has a supportive team culture with regular supervision on cases.
Main duties include:
- Recruit, assess and monitor the suitability of Foster Carers.
- Support Foster Carers to evidence their competence against training standards.
- Provide and record regular supervision in line with the agency's operational standards.
- Undertake support visits.
- Contribute to Foster Carer Annual Reviews within required timescales.
- Ensure that the Foster Carers have an accurate and up to date Foster Care Agreement.
- Identify learning and development needs.
- Undertake initial visits and carer assessments.
- Attend meetings to support Foster Carers, children and young people.
- Assist in the delivery of training.
- Out of Hours duty system on a rota basis - £35 per day.
