Ground Maintenance Operative in Stratford

We are looking for a Temporary Grounds Maintenance Operative to join our team and help maintain outdoor spaces across East London. This is a full-time role (35 hours per week), working from allocated sites with occasional office attendance.

About the Role As a Grounds Maintenance Operative, you will play a vital role in keeping our outdoor environments tidy, safe, and enjoyable. Your day-to-day work will include:

Mowing, lawn care and planting
Pruning, hedge cutting and seasonal upkeep
Weeding, border maintenance and general landscaping
Operating horticultural machinery (mowers, hedge cutters, strimmers, blowers)
Undertaking pesticide application (PA1 & PA6)
Working effectively as part of a team

What We\’re Looking For
Previous horticultural experience
Strong plant knowledge
Ability to prioritise tasks throughout the seasons
Good written and verbal communication skills xiskglj
IT literacy
Full driving licence
Someone who enjoys practical outdoor workA Basic DBS check will be required for this role.
