Speech and Language Therapist – School If you are a highly motivated, enthusiastic and flexible Speech and Language Therapist with an interest in working in Children and Young Adults, within a special needs school in Lambeth. The post holder will provide a speech and language therapy service to students with with language disorders, ASD and social interaction needs. Pat-Time – 2 Days per Week Salary – £42/h This will need to focus particularly upon: expressive language skills; receptive language; sequential skills; applying language to problem-solving; emotional expression and vocabulary linked to this; reciprocal conversation; and social interaction. What you'll need as a Speech Language Therapist – School: Highly specialist knowledge acquired through degree or equivalent qualifications, including further theoretical training and experience to Master's level equivalent in required speciality Continued Professional Development evidenced by attendance at short specialist postgraduate courses to maintain and develop own specialist knowledge and expertise. Recognised Speech & Language Therapy Degree Qualification or equivalent (Post Graduate Diploma or MSc in Speech & Language Therapy leading to registration with HCPC) HCPC Licence to Practice, Registered member of Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists, Membership of relevant CEN 6 months of paid patient facing UK nursing experience from within the past 3 years Up-…
