We’re looking for an experienced Sheltered Housing Officer to deliver a high-quality, person-centred service within housing for older people and specialist schemes. What you’ll be doing:
- Delivering tailored, outcome-focused support that empowers residents to live independently
- Managing complex casework including safeguarding, domestic abuse, mental health, hoarding, anti-social behaviour and substance misuse
- Providing a visible, responsive on-site presence through effective lone working
- Ensuring schemes are safe and compliant through regular inspections, testing and robust health & fire safety management
- Managing property-related issues and maintaining high standards across dwellings and communal areas
- Mediating disputes and fostering a safe, inclusive community environment
- Working flexibly to deliver a tenure-blind, whole-place offer that meets the needs of residents and the wider community
- Contributing to continuous service improvement in line with legislation and local policy
