About the Role
As a Social Worker, you will assess and care plan for adults requiring support due to mental health or physical disabilities. You will work collaboratively with the Barnet, Enfield, and Haringey Mental Health Trust, along with other health and social care partners, to provide comprehensive care. Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting statutory care assessments under the Care Act and Section 117 aftercare under the Mental Health Act 1983.
- Collaborating with health partners and multi-agency teams.
- Providing person-centred, strengths-based assessments to meet social care needs.
- Safeguarding vulnerable adults and implementing safeguarding procedures.
- Preparing reports and written documentation in line with statutory requirements.
About You
You will be a qualified Social Worker, registered with Social Work England, with experience working with vulnerable adults. You will have a sound understanding of the assessment frameworks and a proven track record of delivering high-quality, customer-focused services.
