Senior Welfare Rights Adviser

We’re partnering with a leading London-based organisation to recruit an experienced Welfare Rights Adviser to join their dedicated Income Maximisation Team, helping residents achieve financial stability and sustain their tenancies. The Role You will provide expert advice and casework on welfare benefits and income maximisation, supporting tenants who are in or at risk of rent arrears. Working collaboratively across services, you will deliver tailored, person centred support that empowers residents to manage their finances and maintain secure housing. You will also play a key role in challenging barriers, influencing service improvements, and providing specialist guidance to colleagues across the organisation. Key Responsibilities Deliver a high quality welfare rights advice and advocacy service to residents Manage complex welfare benefits casework, including tribunal representation Support vulnerable residents to sustain tenancies and live independently Provide expert advice and training to colleagues on welfare and financial matters Contribute to continuous service improvement and policy developmentAbout You We are looking for a confident and compassionate professional with: Strong knowledge of welfare rights, benefits legislation and income maximisation Experience handling complex casework and representing clients at tribunals Excellent communication, problem solving and advocacy skills A commitment to delivering the best outcomes for residentsWhy Apply?
