Referral Officer – MASH (Full Time) Location: Barking & Dagenham, London Salary: £32,535 – £33,987 per annum Contract Type: Permanent About the Role Join the Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) in Barking & Dagenham and make a real difference to children, young people, and families in our community. As a Referral Officer, you will provide vital administrative support to the Referral Desk, managing enquiries over the phone and in person with professionalism and discretion. Your responsibilities will include: Screening enquiries and deciding whether to provide information directly or refer to the relevant officer. Maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Managing a varied workload in a fast-paced environment while maintaining excellent customer service.You will be supported by experienced managers who are committed to staff development, training, and wellbeing. About You We are looking for passionate, committed individuals who can inspire and deliver change. To succeed in this role, you will need: Previous experience in delivering excellent customer service. Strong communication skills. The ability to prioritise tasks effectively and work under pressure.Special Requirements This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974.
