Neighbourhood Team Social Worker – London Borough of Camden. A dedicated Neighbourhood Team Social Worker is sought to join a well-structured and organised team. The role offers a competitive salary, flexible work times, opportunities to work remotely and a chance to develop your skills. This position is for an initial 3-6 months with potential for extension subject to internal circumstance and performance.
Responsibilities
- Carrying out initial safeguarding enquiries and s42 enquiries
- Providing advice to the public, partner agencies and regulated care providers in relation to safeguarding concerns
- Completing home visits and safeguarding assessments and reports
- Liaising with other professionals
- Knowledge of relevant legislation
- Holding cases
- Working with people at risk, and people who have caused harm
- Attending multidisciplinary meetings
- Completing referrals to relevant agencies for support
Minimum requirements / Experience
- Post qualifying experience of working as a Neighbourhood Team Social Worker or within a Locality Team
- HCPC Registration
- 3 year post qualifying experience within UK Social Care industry
- Enhanced DBS/CRB (we can obtain for you)
- Eligibility to work in the UK
