We are looking to recruit a Qualified Social Worker Family Help within the Social Care industry in Newham.

Responsibilities include:

  • Working within the families first social work team dealing with all aspects of case management working with CIN, Children’s and Families and Safeguarding
  • Contacting or visiting people who require assessments or reviews either for their current services or because of safeguarding issues
  • Completing Single Assessments
  • Experience of Section 47 investigations
  • Working with families up to the point of the Public Law Outline and some Court Work
  • Prioritising work according to need
  • Managing an extensive amount of varying service user cases ensuring each is appropriately prioritised and dealt with in an efficient and timely manner

Experience preferred:

  • Post qualifying experience of working within a statutory Children’s Safeguarding Social Work team within the UK.

Minimum Requirements:

  • SWE Registration
  • 3 year post qualifying experience within UK
  • Enhanced DBS/CRB (we can obtain for you)
  • Eligibility to work in the UK
