Leicestershire County Council is looking to recruit experienced Occupational Therapists to work across teams within the Adult Social Care OT Service. These roles are required to support increased demand caused by long-term sickness and current vacancies within the service, helping to reduce OT waiting lists and improve response times to urgent referrals.

Main Duties:- Carry out Occupational Therapy assessments within the community and home environment
- Assess adults with a range of physical, functional, and complex needs
- Support timely responses to urgent referrals within Adult Social Care services
- Recommend and coordinate equipment, minor adaptations, and moving & handling solutions
- Promote independence and support service users to remain safely within their own homes
- Complete strengths-based and person-centred assessments in line with Adult Social Care legislation
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and partner agencies
- Maintain accurate case records and contribute to reducing waiting lists across the OT service
- Undertake risk assessments and support safe practices
