We are looking to recruit a Qualified Social Worker for the Children with Disabilities team within the Social Care Industry in Nottingham City. Our client has a well-structured and organised team that is looking to grow their staffing levels. The role offers flexible working hours for working parents and has a supportive team culture with regular supervision on cases. This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-paced and supportive team within Nottingham City.

Main duties include:

  • Strong ability to communicate with disabled children
  • Supporting parents, carers and the siblings of disabled children
  • Carry out relevant assessments
  • Carrying out complex safeguarding risk assessments
  • Experience of working in a multi-disciplinary environment
  • Short Breaks work

To be successful:

For this role, you will need to be a Qualified Social Worker with HCPC Registration and educated to a Social Work Degree Level. The client requests experience of working as a Qualified Social Worker in the Children with Disabilities team within the UK Social Care industry. You will also need to have the Eligibility to Work in the UK with previous experience within a Children with Disabilities Team.

Minimum Requirements:

  • SWE Registration
  • 1 year post qualifying experience within the UK
  • Enhanced DBS/CRB (we can obtain for you)
  • Eligibility to work in the UK
