Are you passionate about improving homes and putting residents at the heart of change? We are looking for a confident, people-focused professional to lead resident engagement across retrofit and major works programmes, helping deliver safer, warmer and more sustainable homes. You will be the key link between residents, contractors and internal teams—co-ordinating consultation, access and communications to ensure works are delivered smoothly and residents feel informed, supported and listened to. A key part of the role is supporting tenants with vulnerabilities or additional needs to help facilitate access and minimise disruption.
Responsibilities
- Act as the main point of contact for residents on retrofit and major works projects
- Coordinate resident consultation, access arrangements and communications
- Liaise with contractors, technical teams and internal services to ensure quality standards and customer care commitments are met
- Support vulnerable residents and work with partner teams to resolve access issues
- Produce clear resident communications, including newsletters and digital updates
Qualifications
Essential
- Strong customer service and communication skills (spoken and written English)
- Experience in a customer-focused role
- Experience in a property or housing-related environment
- Proven ability to deliver service improvements
- Experience producing resident communications and using social media
Desirable
- Experience of retrofit or energy efficiency projects
- Experience in social housing, local authority or contractor environments
- Experience working with councillors or elected members
