We are looking to recruit a Senior Social Worker in the Family Support & Safeguarding Team within Barking & Dagenham. The successful candidate will be working in a well-structured, organised team who are growing their social worker staffing levels.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a stable working environment with experienced leadership, whilst receiving regular supervision and training opportunities. Responsibilities- Undertaking initial investigations
- Undertaking core investigations
- Operating under the remit of the Children's Act, 1989
- Attending child protection meetings
- Managing a high caseload
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case files
- Supporting junior members of the team
- Social Work England registration
- Eligibility to work in the UK
- Social Work qualified (MA/BSc/DipSW/CQSW/MSc/BA)
