Are you an experienced Estates Services Manager with strong leadership skills and a background managing frontline housing services? We're recruiting on behalf of a Local Authority seeking an Estates Services Manager to lead a team of caretakers and ensure estates are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness, safety and appearance. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in improving neighbourhood services and delivering high quality outcomes for residents.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of caretakers, supporting performance, development and wellbeing
  • Oversee estate services including cleaning, waste management, grounds maintenance and communal areas
  • Monitor service standards and take action to resolve issues and improve performance
  • Ensure health and safety compliance across estates
  • Build strong relationships with residents, resident groups and partner agencies
  • Work collaboratively with teams including repairs, tenancy management, community safety and contractors
  • Respond to service issues and support continuous estate improvements

  • Experience managing housing, estates or neighbourhood services
  • Proven experience leading and developing frontline teams
  • Strong understanding of estate management functions
