Learning Disabilities Practitioner Manager London Borough of Lambeth are looking to expand their current team with a dedicated Learning Disabilities Practitioner Manager looking for an opportunity to join a well-structured and organised team. This Learning Disabilities Practitioner Manager role will be for an initial 3-6 months with potential for extension subject to internal circumstance and your performance. Learning Disabilities Practitioner Manager Responsibilities include: Supervise up to 8 Social Workers/assessors in the Adult Learning Disabilities Team. Ensure that statutory assessments and reviews are assigned and completed within expected performance targets and quality standards. Participate in the Community Duty rota. Proactive in promoting anti-discriminatory practices and supporting council policy. Provide line management of front-line operational services which includes the provision a comprehensive assessment and case management service to vulnerable adults. Lead on the delivery of safe services for services users, including investigating, chairing, and reviewing adult safeguarding episodes as appropriate Experience preferred: The Practitioner Manager will need to be a qualified social worker, registered with Social Work England and have significant post qualifying experience.
