Do you have experience working as a Housing Triage Officer? My client is looking for a Housing Triage Officer in London. As a part of the role, you will provide a flexible, person-centred approach towards homeless clients. You will need to have experience of casework with vulnerable people as well as working in partnerships with a variety of agencies.
Duties:
- Providing personalised support to allow the customers to maintain a tenancy and address any other needs identified.
- Using knowledge of the Council's housing and community care procedures along with knowledge of housing support services to provide advice, assistance, and support to multiple complex needs customers accepted for a Housing First Service.
- Providing advice, support, and access to relevant Housing Options, benefits, and other entitlements available to Housing First Customers.
- Ensuring the customer can maintain the tenancy by linking them into all available support.
- Liaising with private landlords to secure and maintain accommodation for the customer.
- Liaising with all statutory partners in health, housing, social care, police, and support providers to ensure the customer can maintain the tenancy.
