The predicted salary is between 48000 - 72000 Β£ per year.

To contribute to driving improvements in inclusive education by contributing to the strategic leadership of Special Education Needs and disabilities (SEND) 0-25, learners who are vulnerable and for those at risk of exclusion.

To ensure the arrangements for securing expertise among schools/settings and other professionals to support children and young people at risk of exclusion with a range of needs, in particular SEMH needs, are developed, monitored and challenged.

  • Experience of leading statutory SEND services, with working knowledge of all relevant guidance.
  • Knowledge and experience of inclusion and outreach/specialist teaching along with working knowledge of the guidance relating to alternative provision and permanent exclusion.
  • Experience of leading placement and provision planning.
  • Experience of managing/leading diverse teams.
  • Experience of leading successfully across multi-agency partnerships with a range of key stakeholders.
  • Significant experience of budget and resource management.
  • Experience of change management and service improvement.
