London Borough of Camden are looking to expand their current team with a dedicated Neighbourhood Team Social Worker looking for an opportunity to join a well-structured and organised team. As well as joining a supportive team, our client also offers a competitive salary, flexible work times, opportunities to work remotely and a chance to develop your skills. This Neighbourhood Team Social Worker role will be for an initial 3-6 months with potential for extension subject to internal circumstances and your performance.
Neighbourhood Team Social Worker responsibilities include:
- Carrying out initial safeguarding enquiries and s42 enquiries
- Providing advice to the public, partner agencies and regulated care providers in relation to safeguarding concerns
- Completing home visits and safeguarding assessments and reports
- Liaising with other professionals
- Knowledge of relevant legislation
- Holding cases
- Working with people at risk, and people who have caused harm
- Attending multidisciplinary meetings
- Completing referrals to relevant agencies for support
Minimum requirements / Experience preferred:
- Post qualifying experience of working as a Neighbourhood Team Social Worker or within a Locality Team
- HCPC Registration
- 3 years post qualifying experience within UK Social Care industry
- Enhanced DBS/CRB (we can obtain for you)
- Eligibility to work in the UK
