Interim Autism Advisory Teacher

Location: Lambeth, Hybrid Working

Contract: 18th May to 31st July

Rate: £280 PD

We’re seeking an experienced and passionate Autism Advisory Teacher to take on a key interim leadership role, supporting schools, families, and services to deliver high-quality, inclusive education for autistic pupils.

The role:

  • Lead and manage an autism advisory service, overseeing delivery and team coordination
  • Provide expert guidance to schools on effective autism strategies and inclusive practice
  • Support the development of neurodiversity-affirming approaches across educational settings
  • Deliver high-quality training and CPD for school staff and parents
  • Contribute to statutory processes, including assessment panels and tribunals
  • Work directly with schools, modelling interventions and supporting staff development
  • Build strong partnerships with families, schools, and multi-agency professionals
  • Oversee service evaluation, ensuring continuous improvement and impact

What you’ll bring:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with substantial experience in SEND
