We are currently recruiting for an experienced Interim School Improvement Advisor to support primary and lower schools across Bedford. This role will focus on raising standards, improving outcomes and providing high-quality challenge and support to school leaders.
The successful candidate will work collaboratively with schools to strengthen leadership, drive improvement planning and support effective educational provision across EYFS, KS1 and KS2, including outcomes for pupils with SEND.
Key Responsibilities- Act as School Improvement Advisor for a portfolio of primary and lower schools
- Support schools with self-evaluation, monitoring and strategic improvement planning
- Analyse school performance data and identify priorities for improvement
- Provide guidance and challenge around leadership, teaching, learning and outcomes
- Support schools through Ofsted preparation and inspection activity
- Deliver coaching, support and professional development for school leaders and governors
- Work collaboratively with education partners and stakeholders
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Significant successful leadership experience within the primary phase
- Previous headship and/or school improvement advisory experience
- Strong understanding of Ofsted frameworks and school accountability
- Experience of improving educational outcomes across EYFS, KS1 and KS2
- Strong communication, analytical and stakeholder engagement skills
