Qualified Social Worker - QSW - Children with Disabilities
Salary: £35- £37 / Hour

Location: Nottinghamshire
Experience managing a Children with Disabilities caseload, supporting children and families with complex and additional needs.
Skilled in completing Child in Need assessments, reviews, care planning and safeguarding assessments.
Strong knowledge of the Children Act 1989, Children and Families Act 2014 and relevant safeguarding legislation.
Experience undertaking short breaks assessments, direct payments and support planning to promote independence and family wellbeing.
Confident working with children with physical disabilities, learning disabilities, autism and complex health needs.
Skilled in multi-agency working with education, health, SEN teams, CAMHS, respite providers and other professionals.
Experience assessing parenting capacity, family circumstances, risks and support needs, with a focus on positive outcomes.
Able to undertake direct work with children and young people, ensuring their wishes, feelings and communication needs are considered.
Knowledge of transition planning and supporting young people moving towards adulthood and adult services.
Strong advocacy, communication and partnership-working skills, including supporting families to access appropriate services and resources.
