We are seeking dedicated Teaching Assistants for SEND students at a college based in Aston. The hours are 08:30-15:00 Monday to Thursday inclusive each week. This role is ongoing with immediate starts. Must be an experienced TA to work alongside complex needs students.

Responsibilities:

  • Working with SEND students aged 14-25, some of whom will need personal hygiene support. The students' level of ability ranges from complex needs to Level 2 functional skills.
  • Providing 2:1 support (although non-behaviour) offering a high level of support in order to achieve high outcomes for the students.
  • Must be proactive and energetic.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum level 2 education and 1 year’s similar experience.
  • Enhanced children and adult DBS on the update service.
  • A caring and empathetic nature towards individuals requiring support.

Experience:

  • Teaching Assistant: 1 year (required).
  • SEND: 1 year (required).

Licence/Certification:

  • DBS on the update service (required).
  • Level 2 certificate in education (preferred).

Work Location: In person.
