Role Overview: We are working with a school seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support to a pupil on a long-term basis. The role involves supporting the pupil from the start of the school day to ensure a smooth and positive transition into learning.
Your Key Responsibilities Will Be:
- Provide 1:1 support to a pupil with additional learning needs
- Assist with engagement, routine, and positive behaviour throughout the school day
- Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement agreed support strategies
- Support the pupil’s focus and emotional regulation within the classroom
- Be available to start at 8:00am to support the pupil upon arrival
Additional Information: The school has indicated that, due to the nature of the support required, this role may be particularly suitable for a female Teaching Assistant.
