Are you passionate about helping young people overcome barriers and achieve success? As a Teaching Assistant, you'll play a vital role in supporting learners with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) to thrive in education, develop essential life skills, and build brighter futures. Working alongside experienced teachers in a welcoming and inclusive environment, you'll provide tailored support that helps learners gain confidence, independence, and the skills they need for employment, further learning, and everyday life.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Support learners with SEND to access learning across a range of vocational subjects, including both theory and practical sessions.
• Provide one-to-one and small group support tailored to individual learner needs.
• Help learners develop confidence, independence, communication and employability skills.
• Reinforce learning by adapting resources and providing additional support where required, adhering to safeguarding and health and safety policies and procedures.
• Build positive, trusting relationships that encourage learners to achieve their full potential.
• Work collaboratively with teachers and the wider support team to create an engaging, inclusive learning environment.
• Adapt to timetable changes and provide support across different curriculum areas as required.

What We're Looking For:

• A caring, patient and enthusiastic individual with a genuine passion for supporting young people with SEND.
• Experience working with learners with additional needs is desirable, but not essential.
• Confidence supporting learners with both written/theory-based work and practical activities.
• Excellent communication, organisational and teamwork skills.
• A flexible approach, positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• A relevant Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable, although full training and development will be provided for the right candidate.
